KHE Complete Bikes 2011
In 2011 KHE is going to offer 2 complete flat bikes. The Adam Pro and the lower priced Adam Ad. The first thing you´ll notice is that the frame of the Ad version has straight tubes. The geometry is similar to the Pro version but not exactly the same. The Pro version comes with the new Katana fork. It´s probably the fork design we showed you a few weeks ago.
Both bikes are pretty light. Ad: 10.7kg / 23.6lbs and Pro: 8.4kg / 18.52lbs.

The Cologne DJʼs Camaro and Bugout are rocking as the Discodogs DJ-Team since 2000. They love really good partys with really good music, skate- and snowboarding and of course Cuba Royal – the Discodogs Signature Drink! The Program: Bouncig HipHop – 70ʼs Funk – Electro – Partybreaks In 2006 they established the successful Cologne based Skate- and Snowboardmovie party series „Trix&Flix“.
They celebrated movie premieres for and with the Pirate Crew, the Ästhetiker, Absinthe Films, Isenseven, Element, SkateboarderMSM, Burton and many more. They have been on tour through Europe with the „Billabong Tropical Punch“ and the „Vans Girls Off The Wall“ Tour. -

King of New York 2010 report
Roy wrote a few lines for you about the King of New York 2010 flatland contest. The King of New York has been part of NYC BMX history since 1995. Originally KoNY was a contest featuring Flatland, Vert and Park... Over the years the contest format had gone through changes and unfortunately Flatland was dropped. 2010 marks the second year Flatland is back as one of the events featured at KoNY. The new attitude for all KoNY events is to have a great day of riding. No timed runs, no pressure, just ride... read the whole story.

France: new shop Distance Cycles + Akira DVD
Laurent from Third-Kind / Magicfruit informed us about a new webshop and distribution based in France called Distance Cycles. They will sell a bunch of Japanese brands including Nankai, Magicfruits, 059Brands and more. So hopefully it will get easier to buy parts of these brands in Europe.
There is already a website with a blog online: distance-cycles.eu. The shop will follow in September.On the blog is a link to the upcoming Akira Okamura self-made DVD Trailer which will include flatland and street footage. Check it out!

Instead, the handle bar turns on its own by previously twisting the handle bar. After the bar did a 360 turn, you catch the bar back to its normal position. |
